Careful assessment
We start with a garment and material review so the work matches the fabric, seams, and condition of the piece. That keeps expectations clear before any quote is confirmed.
We remodel and alter garments with a focus on fit, reuse, and thoughtful design. Every project starts with a careful look at the fabric, construction, and what the garment can realistically become.
Stitch Savvy works with clothing that deserves a second life. From fit updates to complete redesigns, we shape each project around the garment in front of us and the result you want to wear.
We handle vintage pieces, sentimental garments, and fabric-reuse projects with the same practical approach: clear scope, written approval, and careful workmanship from first assessment to collection.

Our workshop is focused on realistic remodelling, clear communication, and finishes that respect the original garment.
We start with a garment and material review so the work matches the fabric, seams, and condition of the piece. That keeps expectations clear before any quote is confirmed.
Our redesign process is built around approval. We outline the scope, confirm the concept, and only move ahead once the direction is agreed.
We offer written alteration scope, approval before additional work, and a final fit check at collection so the finished piece is reviewed before it leaves the workshop.
We value reuse where it is practical, from vintage-garment updates to fabric-reuse accessories. The result is clothing that feels more useful without losing what made it worth keeping.
Built for people who want to keep wearing what they already own, with better shape, better function, and a more considered finish.
Stitch Savvy was founded in 2020 by Oliver Smith with a simple idea: good garments should be worth keeping, reworking, and wearing again.
Our work ranges from garment redesign consultations and fit updates to dress, skirt, shirt, and jacket remodelling. We also create accessory pieces from reusable fabric when the material and construction allow it.
Because every garment is different, we review the piece before quoting, confirm the concept before additional work begins, and complete a fit check at collection.
